Your local Pepsi distributor Walton Beverage and the Whatcom Community Foundation have partnered up to bring you the:

We have $36,000 in charitable grants to give away to our local communities of Whatcom and Skagit counties. We are looking for individuals and organizations with ideas that can have a positive impact on our world. We’re challenging YOU to look around your community and think about how you can change it!

Beginning July 25 until September 5 we invite you to vote for your favorite projects on our website, allowing one vote per day, per email address. * Walton Beverage and the Whatcom Community Foundation will not sell, rent or use the voter's email address for marketing purposes.* We will have a live announcement of the winners on September 8th from 3-6 pm with KGMI 790 AM, and KAFE 104.1 radio stations at to be determined location. Join us as we award local non profits:

1st place will be awarded $10,000

2nd place $6,000

3rd place $4,000

4th place $2,000

DON'T FORGET Power Voting begins August 1 until August 31. During this time we are rewarding our loyal customers and invite you to save your receipt with a Pepsi product purchase from your local grocery store, convenience store or favorite restaurant in Whatcom, Skagit, San Juan or Northern Island counties and turn it into the non-profit you want to see win $10,000 by August 31! We will match dollars for votes. So if you spend $5, we will give that non-profit 5 votes! For a complete list of all accepted product purchases, check out our product list here. Non-profits need to turn in all receipts with an estimated tally to Walton Beverage by September 5. Drop off at either Ferndale or Burlington location, or mail in.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES:

• JULY 25: Voting begins online
• AUGUST 11: Live radio remote with KISM92.9 promoting the Refresh Project at Burlington Haggen from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Come join us for prizes, new product sampling, and EXTRA Power Votes!
• AUGUST 25: Live radio remote with KAFE104.1 at Lakeway Market from 3:00 to 6:00pm. We will be doing new product sampling, and giving away EXTRA Power Votes!
• AUGUST 31: Last day of collecting Power Votes. Power Votes must be turned in to Walton Beverage by September 5.
• SEPTEMBER 5: Last day of online voting
• SEPTEMBER 8: Grant winners are announced live at Barkley Haggen from 3-6pm with KAFE 104.1 and KGMI 790 radio stations!
